• Step 1

    Place the mat on a dry, flat, insulated surface (i.e. towel) to minimize heat loss.

  • Step 2

    Use the mat with the Cozy Bread Insulation Box or cover containers placed on the mat with a towel to retain warmth and maintain humidity control.

  • Step 3

    Power on the mat by plugging it in and pressing the power button on the handheld controller.

  • Step 4

    Set the temperature above 100°F. This will flatten out the mat after 3-5 minutes.

  • Step 5

    Adjust the temperature to 10°F higher than your desired proofing temperature. Our baker sets the mat to 90°F for sourdough.

  • Step 6

    After use, unplug the mat. Wipe down the mat with a damp cloth and dry. Do not get the controller wet.

  • Step 7

    Roll up the mat and store in the included bag.
